Meet the Pres. event is being held on Sunday 21st February between 2 - 4pm at Mumford B&B, 7015 Mumford Road. This event is for current members to come and meet the new president and for prospective members to come and see what The Royal St. George's Society of Halifax is all about. The Society has been through a period of lack of leadership and direction. My term is going to focus on two issues. What events do the membership wish to see put on? Where should our charity dollars be directed? In the past the Society has been run in a stuffy fashion, with little or no relevence to a wider or younger audience. Equally money has been directed to large institutions which does little to raise the profile of the Society. The membership needs to respond as to where they want it to go. This is your chance.
