The Royal St George’s Society of Halifax
BBQ at 5854 Gorsebrook Avenue
Sunday, August 9th, 3.00 – 6.00pm
The Grogonos will again be holding a summer BBQ at their
home. The price will be $15.00, the menu will consist of
hamburgers, bangers etc and dessert and tea or coffee – or
bring your own booze if you prefer. Children welcome, free under 12 years of age.
As last year’s Bring and Buy (including books) was popular, we
will be holding another at this event. Please bring something
nice you can spare, ready labeled with its price.
Parking can be tricky, but the Saint Mary’s car parks are
available on a Sunday, one at each end of Gorsebrook
Avenue.
Pay at the door, but for catering purposes please let us know
well in advance at 420-1134 if you will be attending.
We have had good luck with the weather at our previous St
George’s BBQs, so we are hoping for a hat trick!
